Hohoe United FC has announced its decision to withdraw from the remainder of the 2025/2026 Ghana Premier League season with immediate effect.
The club said the decision was taken after careful consideration of what it describes as systemic unfairness and the apparent bias exhibited towards the club in the disciplinary process that led to the three-match home ban the club is currently enduring.
In a statement signed and issued by Tom Amewu-Duglu, Club Owner, the club nevertheless acknowledged the GFA for past opportunities and wished the league well.
"This withdrawal does not mark the end of Hohoe United FC; it is a principled stand against injustice," the statement reaffirmed.
