Ghanaian singer and songwriter Akwaboah has expressed his satisfaction with married life, encouraging others not to shy away from this important commitment.
In a recent interview with Pulse Ghana, Akwaboah spoke about how marriage, when approached with love and understanding, can become a source of joy and stability.
“My marriage life is a good one. I keep telling people that sometimes you see some posts on social media talking about the negatives in marriages, but there are also positives in marriage that you don’t have to be scared of getting into,” he stated.
According to Akwaboah, making the right choice of partner is crucial for building a successful union. He advised individuals to prioritise friendship and compatibility over superficial considerations.
“You just need to know who you’re with, find your best friend, and make a strong choice. If you want to go because you’re looking at what they have, in terms of beauty or money, that’s the biggest mistake you would ever make,” he cautioned.
The singer further warned against entering into marriage based solely on physical appearance or financial status, emphasising that such factors can be temporary.
“Beauty fades, and with money, you can even lose your job. But for me, so far so good,” he remarked.
