The Eastern South Regional Police Command has arrested two suspects, Amos Boame and Collins Adjei, in connection with an armed robbery that took place at Kwafokrom Goil Filling Station on Sunday, May 24, 2026.
In a police statement, a suspect identified as Ashivie, who is currently on the run, is being pursued for his arrest over his alleged role in the incident.
During the search, police retrieved exhibits including an Alder Tupal pump-action gun with serial number 245A-12944, an electronic shocker, a cutlass, and a bulletproof vest, which are being kept as evidence.

Police further inspected the scene and found nineteen spent cartridges and one live round of ammunition.
The police reported that the suspects shot the security man and a pump attendant who took refuge in an office within the station and made away with cash amounting to Ghc 13,460.00 and assorted items.
However, the victims are in stable condition.
The Authority has assured that efforts are underway to arrest the remaining accomplices for prosecution, urging residents to remain calm as the Filling Station Manager and police have placed measures to prevent future occurrences.
