The Ghana Enterprises Agency (GEA) in the Mfantseman Municipality, under the leadership of Madam Emilia Enison, Head of the Business Resources Centre (BRC), has successfully delivered vital entrepreneurship and skills training to approximately 250 young people.
This initiative targets both agricultural and artisan trades, equipping unemployed youth aged 18 to 35 with the tools and knowledge needed to establish and grow their own businesses.

"A key feature of the programme is the "Business in a Box" concept, which supplies recipients with essential startup equipment.
"Recently, 70 individuals, either under-schooled or eager to launch ventures, received vital business equipment," she said.
These donations included practical items such as gari processing machines and pans, as well as fruit juice-making machines, enabling immediate business operations.
The GEA aims to foster self-reliance and economic independence among the youth in the region.

Madam Emilia Enison stressed the importance of using the equipment effectively, noting that the agency would conduct follow-up visits to ensure proper utilisation.
She cautioned that resources would be reallocated if not managed responsibly, as there are others in need. This reflects a strong commitment to accountable resource allocation and programme sustainability.
The agency also issued an appeal for more individuals to join its training programmes, underscoring the ongoing need and opportunities for skill development.

The Assembly Member for Tabosom Duadze Electoral Area, Ignatius Obota, encouraged participation in the training and acceptance of the items, while urging recipients to care for them properly to support the Business Resources Centre in Mfantseman Municipality.
