President John Dramani Mahama has outlined policy measures to boost industry growth and create jobs under the 24-hour economy initiative.
Speaking at the 2026 May Day Celebration, he stated that government will introduce tax and other incentives for industries, to reduce power costs for companies operating multiple shifts.
“We will provide tax and other incentives to industry and reduce power costs for companies that operate multiple workshops under the 24-hour economy,” President Mahama pointed out.
President Mahama added that the Resetting Ghana agenda would continue to prioritize the creation of decent jobs for Ghanaian youth, emphasizing his commitment to invest in digital economy to empower the workforce.
“By investing in value addition and the digital economy, we will ensure that the Ghanaian worker is not just employed but empowered,” he underscored.
