Ibrahim Mahama pays $2 million of $5 million pledge to support Blacks Stars World Cup campaign

The Founder of Engineers and Planners, Ibrahim Mahama, has donated $2 million towards his $5 million pledge to support the Black Stars’ campaign for the upcoming World Cup.

Speaking at the event in Accra on Thursday, April 30, 2026, the Deputy Finance Minister, Thomas Nyarko Ampem, expressed appreciation for the unwavering support from the engineering company.

“We are incredibly grateful to receive a generous boost for the World Cup 2026 Fundraising effort.

“A huge thank you to Engineers & Planners for an amazing $2,000,000 contribution and to Timeline Innovations for an additional 1 million Ghana cedis.

He emphasized that the contribution has strengthened the team’s confidence and sense of pride as they continue their journey forward.

“On behalf of the Committee and the Black Stars, we appreciate your support in helping us push forward with confidence and pride. 

The journey continues together,” the statement expressed.
