Aduana Football Club has issued an official statement expressing its deep sorrow following the tragic incident involving Berekum Chelsea Football Club after their league fixture against FC Samartex 1996.
In the statement released on Monday, April 13, Aduana FC said it was heartbroken to learn of the passing of Dominic Frimpong, a player they had proudly loaned to Berekum Chelsea.
According to Aduana Football Club, this is a devastating loss to both clubs and to Ghanaian football as a whole.
"We extend our deepest condolences to Berekum Chelsea, the family of Dominic Frimpong, his teammates, and all affected by this tragedy.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. May his soul rest in perfect peace," the statement expressed.
The statement was released and signed by Evans Oppong, Corporate Affairs and External Relations Manager.
