The Head of Corporate Communications at the Ghana National Gas Company, Richard Kirk-Mensah, has held a strategic engagement with members of the media in the Western Region, aimed at strengthening relations between the press and the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The meeting brought together media practitioners from across the region to foster closer collaboration while providing a platform for journalists to assess the government’s performance and raise concerns affecting residents.

Discussions also focused on ongoing development projects and policy direction under President John Dramani Mahama.

Western Regional Minister, Joseph Nelson, alongside the Municipal Chief Executive for the Effia Kwesimintsim Municipal Assembly (EKMA), outlined key infrastructure and social intervention projects underway in the region.

The engagement spearheaded by Kirk-Mensah who also doubles as the Western Region's Communication Officer of NDC further highlighted the party’s efforts to maintain open communication with the media while reinforcing its governance agenda at the regional level.
