A tragic incident has occurred in Takinta, located in the Jomoro Municipality of the Western Region, where a man, Nya Meah, who was reportedly attempting to harm himself, ended up killing a neighbour, Cosmos Ndah, who came to his aid.
According to eyewitnesses, the neighbour entered Meah’s house after hearing that he intended to take his own life. His aim was to calm him down and prevent the act.
However, during the confrontation, the situation turned violent, and the neighbour was fatally attacked with a cutlass.
The incident has left residents of Takinta in shock.
The police have since taken over the case, and investigations are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding this tragedy.
