The Embassy of the Republic of Ghana in Qatar has announced an emergency evacuation exercise for Ghanaian nationals residing in Qatar, following heightened security concerns in the region.
In reference to its earlier notice dated Friday, March 6, 2026, the embassy is informing all Ghanaians living in Qatar about the evacuation arrangements.
According to the statement released on Sunday, March 15, it is noted that this exercise is strictly a one-way evacuation to Ghana.
The embassy stated that Ghanaians in Qatar who wish to be evacuated immediately are kindly requested to reconfirm their interest by submitting the biodata pages of their passports via email to doha@mfa.gov.gh by Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at the latest.
