Security Advisory: Ghanaian nationals in UAE cautioned amid heightened regional tensions

The Consulate-General of the Republic of Ghana in Dubai has issued an urgent security advisory to all Ghanaian nationals residing in the United Arab Emirates due to heightened regional tensions.

In a statement released on Saturday, February 28, the Consulate cautioned Ghanaian nationals to remain at home and limit all non-essential movement.

The advisory further warned Ghanaians against travel, noting that commercial flights are currently cancelled.

It advised nationals to avoid government buildings, military sites, and critical infrastructure.

Ghanaians are urged to monitor official announcements from UAE authorities for verified updates and to keep mobile devices ready for UAE Government alerts.

The Consulate-General assured citizens that it will remain operational and provide further guidance as the situation develops.

The statement also urged all nationals to remain calm and to follow the official guidance from local authorities.
