President John Dramani Mahama has declared a robust economic rebound, emphasising fiscal discipline and strategic reforms.
In his 2026 State of the Nation Address delivered in Parliament on Friday, February 27, Mahama proclaimed, “Ghana is back; Ghana is working again,” underscoring improved economic fundamentals and restored investor confidence.
Mr. Mahama outlined measures that have stabilised public finances, reduced debt, and revived business confidence. He stressed, “we have borrowed less and spent more responsibly.”
Additionally, he noted that careful planning and disciplined governance have enabled Ghana to navigate years of mismanagement, restoring hope for ordinary citizens.
