Bawumia’s Flagbearer Victory: DMB Call Centre Credits Napo’s Strategic Support

Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, popularly known as Napo, has been commended by the DMB Call Center Group for his behind-the-scenes contributions to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s victory in the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) 2028 presidential flagbearer race.

The group, one of the key support structures within the NPP during the campaign period, presented a citation to the former Energy Minister in recognition of his unwavering support and logistical assistance, which they say significantly enhanced their operational effectiveness.

According to the DMB Call Center Group, Napo stood firmly by them throughout the campaign and consistently provided the needed support to enable them to carry out their duties, contributing to Dr. Bawumia’s successful bid for the party’s flagbearership.

The group noted that it would have been wrong to remain silent about Napo’s role, describing him as a selfless individual and a dependable pillar within the NPP family.

Presenting the citation on Monday, a leading member of the group, Hajara Mohammed, read in part:

“We wish to express our profound gratitude to you for your generous and unwavering support toward the DMB Call Center.”

The citation further stated:

“Your timely intervention and commitment to initiatives that enhance effective communication and service delivery, particularly in helping effectively disseminate and amplify the vision of Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia to the delegates and electorate of our party, the New Patriotic Party (NPP), have made a significant difference in the success and growth of this important platform.”

It added that:

“Your support has not only strengthened the operational capacity of the Call Centre but has also reinforced our mission to provide efficient, responsive, and people-centred services. This contribution reflects your visionary leadership, dedication to development, and genuine concern for empowering institutions that serve the public.”

The citation concluded by noting:

“We are deeply appreciative of your continued encouragement and confidence in this initiative. Your support has laid a strong foundation for sustainability and long-term impact, and it will continue to inspire excellence and professionalism in service.”

Dr. Opoku Prempeh thanked the DMB Call Centre Group for recognising his efforts during the campaign, much of which he said was carried out quietly. He urged the group and other members of the NPP to remain committed to their work as the party prepares towards the 2028 general elections.
