The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has reached an agreement with Carlos Queiroz to continue as head coach of the Black Stars for the next phase of the national team’s programme.
According to the GFA, Mr. Queiroz’s previous mandate, which included leading Ghana at the just-concluded FIFA World Cup, ended a few weeks ago, stressing that GFA, the Ministry of Sports and Recreation and Coach Queiroz have agreed to begin a new coaching mandate ahead of the upcoming international window.
The GFA considered that Queiroz’s extensive international experience, technical expertise, and knowledge of the Black Stars make him well suited to lead the team into its next phase.
The GFA noted that further details of the new mandate and the Black Stars’ upcoming programme will be announced in due course, as Queiroz turns his attention to preparing the team for its upcoming international assignments.
