Teria Foundation has announced its 2nd edition of the Global Africa Early Childhood Education Forum (GAECEF 2028), scheduled for 14–17 June 2028 in Accra, Ghana, as part of activities marking the Day of the African Child.

In a statement released, the foundation said the Forum will bring together education leaders, policymakers, teachers, researchers, development partners, civil society organisations, private-sector stakeholders and other key actors to promote dialogue, innovation, collaboration and action for quality early childhood education across Africa.

The foundation highlighted key activities that will build brighter futures, stating that it will include "High-Level Early Childhood Education Dialogue, Early Childhood Education and Foundational Learning Sessions, Teachers and Practitioners Capacity Building, Innovation and Solutions Showcase, Children's Voices and Creative Activities."

It also assured that the programme will support Parent & Community Engagement, an Education Exhibition, the Day of the African Child Commemoration, the Africa for Children Charity Concert and Partnership and Networking Sessions, culminating in a GAECEF 2028 Declaration.

Teria Foundation further announced that it invites African and international institutions, governments, corporate organisations, foundations, development partners, NGOs, educational institutions and media organisations to partner with the 2nd edition of GAECEF 2028 as sponsors, programme partners, speakers, exhibitors and supporters.

"Together, we can build strong foundations and brighter futures for Africa's children," Teria Foundation added.
