Disregard posters on my aspiration for NDC flagbearership – Haruna Iddrisu

The Office of the Minister for Education and Member of Parliament for Tamale South, Haruna Iddrisu, has clarified that campaign posters circulating on social media suggesting he is seeking to contest the flagbearership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) are fake and misleading.

In a statement issued by his office, the posters were described as unauthorised and not originating from Mr. Iddrisu or any official representative.

“These posters are not from Hon. Haruna Iddrisu or his office in any form. They are false and should be disregarded entirely,” the statement said.

The Office urged the public to treat the materials with utmost contempt, warning against the spread of misinformation that could mislead party supporters and the general public.

According to the statement, Haruna Iddrisu remains fully focused on his duties as Minister for Education and as the elected representative for Tamale South. He is currently in Lusaka, Zambia, accompanying President John Dramani Mahama on official engagements.

“The Minister is actively working with His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama to advance the Reset Ghana agenda, particularly within the education sector, which has been entrusted to him by the President,” the Office said.
