President John Dramani Mahama has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to expanding access to quality healthcare across the country.
The President described healthcare as a fundamental pillar of national development and social welfare.
He made the remarks during the Free Primary Healthcare Programme durbar at the Ho Municipal Hospital, held as part of his two-day Resetting Ghana tour of the Volta Region.
Addressing health professionals, traditional leaders, stakeholders and residents, President Mahama commended the management and staff of the Ho Municipal Hospital for a century of dedicated service to the people of the Volta Region and beyond.

He also paid tribute to healthcare workers across the country for their unwavering commitment to safeguarding the health and wellbeing of Ghanaians.
