A man believed to be in his 30s was found dead following Monday’s heavy downpour along the Kasoa–Accra Highway.
The body was discovered early on Tuesday morning, June 30, and the circumstances surrounding the man’s death have yet to be established.
Meanwhile, traffic on the Kasoa–Accra Highway has significantly worsened after part of the road became blocked.
The obstruction has forced vehicles travelling towards Accra and those heading to Kasoa to share a single carriageway, resulting in severe congestion. Authorities have been notified and efforts to clear the blockage are ongoing.
