The Central Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dr. Nkosuohene Richard Kofi Asiedu, has donated 23 motorbikes and GHS23,000 to support Constituency Election Directors across the region ahead of the party’s branch elections starting Saturday, June 20, 2026.
The contribution, announced in a statement signed by Personal Aide to the Regional Chairman, Francis Asmah, is intended to boost grassroots mobilisation and strengthen constituency-level operations as the NDC begins its internal electoral process.
He highlighted that the motorbikes aim at improving mobility for election directors, while the cash is meant to cover logistical needs during the branch polls.
He added that the donation underscores the chairman’s personal commitment to empowering constituency structures and ensuring an organised and efficient election exercise throughout the Central Region.
Party sources also described the gift as timely and aimed at enhancing political activism and operational effectiveness at the grassroots.
