The body of an unidentified man has been retrieved from the Densu River at Tetegu, near Weija in the Greater Accra Region.
According to reports, fishermen discovered the body during a routine expedition on the river.
They alerted community members, and the body was subsequently recovered from the water.
The discovery comes barely a week after another body was recovered from the same river, raising concerns among residents about safety along the waterway and the ongoing spillage from the Weija Dam.
The latest incident is the second recovery of a human body from the Densu River within a week.
Residents continue to express concern about high water levels in the Densu River resulting from the ongoing spillage of the Weija Dam.
