A delegate from Suhum has alleged that an aspirant handed him an envelope containing a counterfeit currency note during the NPP presidential primary.
In a video that has been circulating on social media, the delegate discarded the note before noticing a name inscribed on it; however, he could not identify the specific candidate involved.
According to the delegate, he initially tossed the note, believing it to be of no significance, but later realised that it bore the name 'Francis.'
"I trashed it thinking that it's nothing but after trashing it, I saw Francis on it. One guy was saying that it may be an envelope from Accra, and when they checked, it was more than expected," the delegate alleged.
