Former Member of Parliament (MP) for Awutu Senya East, Hawa Koomson, has addressed the media regarding developments in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential election.
According to her, she is committed to protecting the integrity of her polling centre and ensuring peace throughout the election.
"So far so good, the Electoral Commission has set up, the polling station executives are also here, and both former and current constituency executives are present and have cast their votes."
Hon. Hawa Koomson further explained that there were some disturbances from the delegates, which she believes are unacceptable on election day.
However, she stated that she will comport herself in order to maintain peace during the ongoing election.
"I voted first for the Holy Spirit, and I'm going to make sure there'll be peace at this centre. You saw they were making noise as if I'm not here."
