A Toyota Corolla with registratration number GN 4683-11 overturned several times on the Akropong–Akufo road after reportedly striking a pothole while negotiating a sharp bend amid dense fog.
The driver became trapped in the vehicle but was freed by nearby residents before firefighters from the Akropong Fire Station arrived.
Emergency care was given at the scene, and the driver was later conveyed to Mampong TQM Hospital for further treatment.
Authorities have not yet released details about the driver’s condition or whether charges will follow as investigations continue.
