The Board and Management of Asante Kotoko Sporting Club met with the players and technical team on Monday, May 25, 2026, to discuss the club’s disappointing performance during the 2025/2026 Ghana Premier League season.
In addition to the performance review, the meeting addressed allegations of attempted bribery involving some players ahead of our last Ghana Premier League fixture.
According to the statement released, management has commenced a thorough investigation into the matter and remains committed to uncovering the full facts.
The Club notes that Asante Kotoko will treat this issue with the utmost seriousness and, as such, any individual found culpable following the investigation will face the appropriate disciplinary sanctions.
The Board and Management commended Patrick Asiedu for his professionalism, integrity and commitment to the values of Asante Kotoko by promptly bringing the allegations to the attention of the club.
The statement further assured supporters that the Club remains committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity, professionalism and accountability at all times.
