The Tema Regional Police Command has arrested four students of Ada Senior High Technical School following a viral video in which a student was seen wielding a cutlass and issuing threats on campus.
According to police, the incident came to their attention around 12:10 a.m. on May 22, 2026, after the video began circulating on social media platforms.
A statement signed by ASP Dede Dzakpasu, Head of Public Affairs for the Tema Region, confirmed that a night patrol team was immediately deployed to the school.
With the assistance of school authorities, police arrested the individuals captured in the video.
The suspects have been identified as 18-year-olds Raymond Gyamfi, Oscar Amemoair, and Odartey Wilson, alongside a juvenile.
Police say all four were directly identified in the viral footage.
The suspects are currently in custody, assisting investigators with ongoing inquiries into the incident.
Authorities have urged students to resolve disputes through appropriate school structures rather than resorting to violence or intimidation.
The Command also called on parents and school administrators to strengthen discipline, supervision, and guidance to ensure safety within schools.
Investigations are ongoing, and police say further updates will be communicated as new details emerge.
