Ghanaian comedian and actor Dr. Likee has made a massive statement on the international stage after successfully filling the 2,700-capacity at The O2 Indigo in London on May 22, 2026 with his debut comedy event, 'Dr. Likee Live.'
The sold-out event featured a blend of stand-up comedy, skits, and music performances, drawing huge support from Ghanaians in the UK and beyond.
The night became even more memorable with appearances from top Ghanaian celebrities including Akrobeto, Nana Ama McBrown, Emelia Brobbey, Bernice Asare, Papa Kumasi, Andy Dosty, Efia Odo, O'Kenneth, Shifoo, Sobolo, and Opoku Bilson.
A major highlight of the night was a surprise performance by Stonebwoy, who brought explosive energy to the venue and praised Dr. Likee’s achievement as unprecedented for a Ghanaian skit maker.
Fans described the event as a huge victory for Ghanaian comedy and digital content creators on the global stage.
Following the successful show, social media users quickly began comparing Dr. Likee’s achievement to fellow actor and comedian Lil Win, with many predicting that Lil Win could soon organise a similar event in London in an attempt to match or surpass the success of Dr. Likee Live.
One X user, Porcupine (@Kotokofan1), wrote:
“You people should mark it. Lil Win might pull something up to kill this shine. He has been trying since the beginning of the week but it hasn’t worked. Kudos to Dr. Likee.”
Another user, Humble Black (@humble_mubarik), also shared:
“Lil Win will surely try to organise a concert show in London soon. Mark my words! Lil Win and bitter competition be 9/10.”
Others focused on celebrating Dr. Likee’s success and applauding him for taking bold steps that many entertainers are hesitant to attempt internationally.
Dr. Ing. Kwesi KUDI commented:
“He’s doing well for himself. I’m happy for him.”
Another fan, Mr. Ahenkora, added:
“He is doing what our artists are afraid to do.”
