Former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is anticipated to triumph in the upcoming New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential primaries, as revealed by the latest survey from Global Info Analytics.
The poll forecasts that he will secure 57% of the votes, setting the stage for him to represent the party in the 2028 general elections.
In the survey, Kennedy Agyapong is projected to come in second with 28%, followed by Dr. Bryan Acheampong, who is anticipated to achieve 13%. Former Education Minister Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum is expected to receive 2%, while Kwabena Agyepong, the former NPP General Secretary, is predicted to receive no votes.
Global Info Analytics conducted a survey involving over 10,000 delegates across 276 constituencies nationwide, boasting a confidence level of 99.9% in its findings.
The research organisation has kept a close watch on the build-up to the forthcoming primaries, executing monthly surveys that have consistently shown Dr. Bawumia in a leading position.
More than 200,000 delegates are expected to cast their votes on Saturday, January 31.
