The Bank of Ghana (BoG) has announced its latest initiative to create an enabling regulatory environment that supports innovation while safeguarding market integrity.
As part of this effort, the following entities have been admitted into the Regulatory Sandbox for a period of one year:
"Transika Ltd, One Africa Securities Ltd, Mansu Technologies Ltd, Payafrione Gh Ltd, Akuna Wallet Ltd, Afrix Paycoin Ltd."
These entities will play a crucial role in assisting the Bank in validating proposed regulatory frameworks related to the exchange, custody, administration, and issuance of virtual assets.
It is important to note that the Bank of Ghana reserves the right to withdraw its approval of any entity at any time due to non-performance or non-compliance with applicable requirements.
