Ibrahim Mahama offers to sponsor xenophobia victim’s business startup in Ghana

Ghanaian business mogul and founder of Engineers and Planners Company Limited, Ibrahim Mahama, has offered to sponsor Emmanuel Asamoah, the Ghanaian victim of the recent South African xenophobic attacks.

According to a Facebook post by Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Emmanuel Asamoah was relocated to Ghana from South Africa on May 8, 2026.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs welcomed him at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Upon his arrival, Mr Ablakwa announced that Mr Mahama had reached out and offered to fully sponsor any business start-up of Mr Asamoah’s choice in Ghana.

"Yesterday I joyfully hosted Mr Emmanuel Asamoah, Ghana's victim of xenophobia, we relocated from South Africa. We had a great time together at the ministry of Foreign Affairs.

"I am pleased to disclose that business mogul, Mr Ibrahim Mahama has reached out to me and offered to fully sponsor any business startup of Mr Asamoah’s choice in Ghana," he stated.
