Vice President sends best wishes to students ahead of 2026 BECE

The Vice President of Ghana, Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, extended her best wishes to all students writing the 2026 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) on behalf of the Government.

The Vice President expressed confidence that all candidates will do their very best, having worked for years with discipline and careful preparation.

She encouraged all candidates to approach the examination with confidence, honesty and determination.

In addition, Prof. Nana Naana Agyemang commended the Ghana Education Service (GES), teachers, parents and all stakeholders for their dedicated efforts towards preparing the students.

In a statement, she cautioned supervisors, invigilators and school authorities to maintain the highest standards of fairness and transparency, to ensure a credible process and outcome.
